Of all streaming platforms Netflix NFLX -0.3 percent is among the top-performing. Each day, the most popular streaming service is adding many new films to its library. This week was no exception.
This makes deciding on to watch a movie…well. Difficult. But I’m hoping to be able to assist. I looked through every film added to Netflix this month–adjusted by movies added this week — and selected the top 10 choices. In this post, I’ll go through each of the movies.

The Lord of the Rings The Fellowship of the Ring
A civilization’s future lies on the fate of the One Ring, which has been lost for a long time. Forces of power are relentless in seeking it. However, fate has put this in the care of an aspiring young Hobbit known as Frodo Baggins who is the inheritor of the Ring and is transformed into the legend. A difficult task lies ahead of Frodo when He becomes the Ringbearer to take down his One Ring in the fires of Mount Doom where it was made.

Dissatisfied with the job that is killing her soul, New Yorker Julie Powell is enticed by a bold idea which is to cook the entire 524 recipes from Julia Childs’ landmark cookbook, “Mastering the Art of French Cooking.” In the book is the actual story of the way Julia Child herself conquered French cuisine with enthusiasm, courage and lots of butter.
Call Me by Your Name
The summer is 1983 and the precocious 17-year-old Elio Perlman is spending the time with his family in their 17th-century home in Lombardy, Italy. Elio is soon able to meet Oliver an attractive doctoral student employed as an assistant for Elio’s father. With the sun shining on the surrounding, Elio as well as Oliver discover the captivating attraction of a new love during an entire summer that will change their lives for ever.

La La Land

Bad Boys II
The drug ecstasy has been being injected into Miami The police want it to be stopped. Officer Detective Marcus Burnett and his partner, Mike Lowrey, are just the right people to handle it. They trace the drugs to an Cuban smuggler Johnny Tapia, who is also engaged in a bloody battle between Russian and Haitian mobster. If that’s not bad enough, there is conflict between these two police officers due to the fact that Lowrey is romantically linked to Burnett’s sister Syd.
