How gold is mined from electronic waste using microbes

Although electronics are full of gold, getting rid of them is difficult. New Zealand-based startup found a way of extracting gold from old circuit boards with inexpensive chemicals and microbes that can absorb precious metals. The founders believe it will change the way the world views e-waste.
